Web development, written by hand

Sites written in code, not assembled

A page builder ships its own weight to every visitor. Written out by hand, a page carries only what it actually uses, and it stays that way.

  • No page builder, no bought theme
  • Only what the page uses is loaded
  • You still edit it in the dashboard
  • Built to be changed later

What is included

What comes with a build

How it goes

From approved design to a live site

Nothing is guessed at this stage: the design is already agreed.

  1. 1
The design, in code Page by page, exactly as approved. Nothing is redesigned while it is being built.
  2. 2
Content and fields The parts that will change become fields, so they can be edited without touching code.
  3. 3
Checks Every page on a phone, a tablet and a desktop, and every form and link followed.
  4. 4
It goes live Onto your domain, with the old site kept until you are happy with the new one.

Overview

What written in code actually means

A page builder is a program that writes your page for you at the moment somebody opens it. It has to be able to build anything, so it ships the parts for everything.

Written out by hand, a page contains what that page needs and nothing else. That is the whole of the difference, and it is most of the reason a hand written site is quick.

It also means the site can be changed later without fighting a builder that has its own ideas about how the page is put together.
